Ratings Day Is Coming. Know Where You Stand Before USTA Tells You.

I built MyTennisRatings after years of winning division titles and sectionals runs without a bump, and zero explanation. Bump Week is my coverage of year-end ratings: what is about to happen to your rating, what you can do about it, and what to do the morning the new ratings drop.

Year-end ratings are expected in early December. USTA does not pre-announce an exact date, so my countdown targets the first Monday of December, Monday, December 7, 2026, and I will cover the actual drop live.

Get The Bump + Appeal Guide: Free

The morning ratings publish is the worst time to learn how appeals work. My guide covers: what actually triggers a bump, the three appeal types and who qualifies for each, the deadlines that matter, and the exact steps I would take if my number moves. Join the list and I will send it the week ratings drop, plus my Ratings Day morning briefing.

Bumped? You May Have Options, But The Clock Is Real.

Not every bump can be appealed, and not every appeal should be filed. Medical appeals, auto-appeals for age, and computer-rating appeals all work differently, and the windows are short.

My Bump + Appeal Guide walks through each appeal type with who qualifies, the deadlines, and the evidence to gather before you file. Get it free with the signup above, before Ratings Day, not after.

Bump Week Questions

The four questions I hear most, every single December.

When do year-end ratings come out?

Typically early December. USTA does not publish an exact date in advance, so I run Bump Week on a countdown to the first Monday of December and cover the actual drop live.

Can this site tell me my official rating?

No. Nothing here is official. Only USTA publishes official NTRP ratings. What I give you is an informed estimate so you are not blindsided.

I got bumped and I disagree. Now what?

Read the appeal section of my guide first. Some bumps are appealable, many are not, and a failed appeal can lock you out. Do not file blind.

Is this affiliated with USTA?

No. MyTennisRatings is my independent project. I am a USTA league player, not a USTA employee.
