How MyTennisRatings handles your data. The short version: I collect very little and sell nothing.
MyTennisRatings (mytennisratings.com) is operated by Ron Satha as a solo project. This site provides free tennis rating tools and educational content for USTA league players.
Analytics data. I use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 collects anonymized data including pages visited, time spent on site, device type, browser type, and approximate geographic location. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally. Google's privacy policy governs their handling of this data.
Email address. If you choose to join the waitlist, I collect the email address you provide. This is stored securely through Mailchimp and used only to send you updates about MyTennisRatings. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email I send.
Rating inputs. When you use the Rating Translator or other tools, the values you enter are processed entirely in your browser. They are not sent to any server, stored in any database, or associated with you in any way.
I do not collect your name, phone number, payment information, USTA account details, or any personally identifiable information beyond what is described above. I do not use tracking pixels from social media platforms. I do not run targeted advertising.
Your information is never sold, rented, traded, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Period. The only third-party services that receive any data are Google Analytics (anonymized usage data) and Mailchimp (your email address if you join the waitlist).
Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. These are first-party cookies set by Google's analytics script. I do not set any additional cookies. You can block analytics cookies through your browser settings or by using a browser extension like uBlock Origin without affecting your ability to use the site.
California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information I collect, request deletion of your data, and opt out of any sale of personal information. Since I do not sell personal information, there is nothing to opt out of. To make a data request, email me at info@mytennisratings.com.
EU/UK residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You may also object to processing. To exercise these rights, email me at the address above. I will respond within 30 days.
MyTennisRatings is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe I have collected information from a child under 13, please contact me and I will delete it promptly.
If I make changes to this privacy policy, I will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, I will notify waitlist subscribers by email.
